Togo’s Eateries celebrated the first of many new Washington state locations in Kent on Saturday, June 18th, 2016.
A young college student opened the sandwich restaurant’s first location 45 year ago in a small shack near San Jose University. Spreading throughout California, Togo’s was dubbed the “West Coast Original.” It was easy for fans to get behind the restaurant’s artisan breads, hand-sliced meats, and freshly-scooped Hass avocados.
"Kent Station is the perfect place to introduce Washington to Togo's," said Hung Ngo, owner of Togo's Kent. "We're conveniently located near Evergreen Community College, Old Downtown Kent, the ShoWare Center, King County Courthouse, Kent Commons and other landmarks. We look forward to serving Togo's world-famous sandwiches along with gluten-free wraps, soups and freshly prepared salads."
To kick things off in Kent, the first 500 guests received a reward of a free #9 Hot Pastrami or #24 Turkey Avocado. And the giveaways continue through December 2016.
